Originally from Downers Grove, Illinois, Karen graduated with a B.A. and a Master's Degree from Miami of Ohio. Karen then started her career as a career counselor at the University of Georgia. After moving to Cleveland, Karen sold pharmaceuticals for Fortune 500 Company Bristol Myers-Mead Johnson. C.R. Bard, another Fortune 500 Company recruited Karen into Medical Equipment Sales with a territory spanning three states. In addition, Karen has experience expanding the student co-op program under a federal grant at Baldwin Wallace College, overseeing the marketing and sales for a small start-up company and also expanding business for a healthcare non-profit organization.

With her interest in growing sales and organizations, Karen accepted a position as President/CEO of the Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce in 2009 and then went on to accept the President/CEO position at the larger Willoughby Area Chamber of Commerce in 2013, where within four months, with the support of a collaborative strategic-minded board, merged Western Lake County Chamber with the Willoughby Chamber two Chambers to make the Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce where Karen is presently the President/CEO. Karen enjoys the many opportunities to help small businesses to grow and thrive in western Lake County.

Donna Swan

Office Manager

Donna started as the Administrative Assistant with the Willoughby Area Chamber of Commerce in June 2010. She then became the Office Manager for the merged Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce in 2013. She is responsible for the internal operations for the chamber and is the primary point of contact. She provides administrative support to the President/CEO and various chamber committees including Willoughby ArtsFest.

Natalija Miljanovic

Digital Communications and Marketing Coordinator

Natalija graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Communications and Political Science from Lake Erie College. She worked as a Front Desk Receptionist for Classic Auto Group for two years while attending college. In April of 2017, Natalija obtained a position as the Digital Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the Willoughby Western Chamber of Commerce. Natalija enjoys foreign policy, beautiful writing, cross country hiking, and yoga.
