Dana is a seasoned professional, with years of marketing and procurement experience in Northeast Ohio. She began her marketing career at with the Cleveland Cavaliers, which was highlighted by the All-Star Game, and then became the Marketing Director for companies including Great Northern Mall and Time Warner Cable, where she spearheaded branding initiatives, local and regional events, community outreach programs, sponsorships and promotional events.
She became a procurement specialist and worked as a Marketing Sourcing Specialist for KeyBank, and then went back to Cleveland Cavaliers to head up their Corporate Services and Administrative Services team, as the Senior Director. She managed all vendor relationships, contract negotiations and helped established service levels, process improvements and cost savings.
Prior to becoming the Executive Director, Dana initially took on the role of Marketing Manager for the Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce to expand her reach in developing new relationships and to help businesses, including new business owners, to economically grow in Western Lake County. She attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a master’s degree in Education, Sport Management. She was an athletic scholarship recipient as a member of the SIU volleyball team and was inducted into the SIU Hall of Fame in 2010. Dana, originally from Muncie, Indiana, resides with her family in Westlake, and her son Blake, was a student athlete at Bluffton University, prior to transferring to Kent State and joined the Marching Band.
